Greetings adventurers!
The first member announcements for the player's guild have been sent out, and here's already a little special for those who made it into that 'illustrious circle' of component testers!
We've received a letter from the royal consultant Bèrebon (you'll find the letter at the bottom) and he seemed a little worried and nervous. Apparently, they are desperately searching for a master blacksmith - maybe it is one of you?
The first person that can prove he has forged what Bèrebon is looking for wins one of our limited exclusive dwarven T-Shirts!
These are the rules:
- Puzzle together the clues
- Forge the object for Bèrebon
- Make a Screenshot of the forged result
- Send the Screenshot to hello[at]sycoforge.com, together with your full name and adress
- Receive our T-Shirt
- Wear our fancy T-Shirt!
We will keep you updated as soon as we have a winner!
Haven't made it into the player's guild? Don't worry!
- You have already applied: you will automatically participate in the selection process for the second component test.
- You haven't applied yet: join our discord and claim the 'Player's Guild Aspirant' role as soon as the application round for the second component test gets announced.
In the meantime: may the best blacksmith win and good luck!
Hyr Frinbard!
A lonesome warrior came wandering our kingdom. His garments filthy and he half dead of thirst. He said the Nimbor mountains he had to climb - foolish he is with the equipment that he has! Nay real dwarf would ever try such a daring undertaking with a cankered axe like his and boots worn out, allowing the cold to move in. Sending him off I would have, but gracious as the heart of our king is, he advised us to accommodate him and prepare equipment for his departure. Argoran already made his deliciously famous Frìnsentìn Pie, and Belastrian delivered boots of finest fur and cheveril glove from Eshgard, but how should he be supposed to climb with just a lousy axe?! Assigned by the king was Haldòr to forge him the Snowbeards' famous axe, that with its light 6kg 500g is perfectly made for that purpose, but, how should it be: the drunkard has already passed out in the Tavern... sigh... Why is Bordjal even getting served in the morning?! Either way, a master blacksmith is wanted to forge the Snowbeards' axe for our visitor! Unfortunately, the exact recipe is not known, and asking Haldòr - well, allow to say that this is not an option. One says that its head is 15 and a quarter times heavier than its wooden handle, but what does someone like me know! It is up to a master blacksmith that the honor of the king might not get tarnished! Here is to see a visual representation of said axe:
May their craft speak for those who are willing to forge this weapon! And rest assured, their work shall be rewarded! Oh, and forget not the special alloy needed for this weapon, two in number I've heard! If it be true only I'd recall the name... Either way: don't use the expensive iron or wood!
