TAVERN BRAWL IN THE OUTPOST
In one of the recently rising occurrences of brawls in the Tavern of Solitude in the Northern Outpost, tavern inn-keeper Argoran Rodjal has been left with a huge mess and significant damage to his inventory. Not only have tankards been flying around – stools and even a table have been used as fighting instruments.
Luckily, except for some sprained ankles and bruises, no dwarf has been severely hurt. One of the involved says that he has no memory of the events. They had been drinking Bjordal AND singing the

Guardian's anthem, he's cited as saying. What happened after is not subject to his knowledge.
Argoran, his anger evermore being tested, exclaimed that he would have to close down the tavern for at least two days. He's thinking of introducing a closing time in order to prevent further brawls. While this might sound like a reasonable solution, it would definitely upset every dwarf in the Northern Outpost. For the tidying work, volunteers are wanted.

STORM DEMANDS DEATH VICTIMS
In what has been one of the worst storms descending on Ebboria for decades, three victims have been claimed in Taldorsheim – they were doing repair work on a house when a gust of wind blew away their scaffolding, sending them down to their deaths. Citizens are advised to stay in their homes until the worst of the storm is over. The effects on nature and agriculture cannot be predicted yet. It has been too warm for this Harkatòr, and farmers are hoping that a nocold wave will follow the storm, though, in previous years, this hasn't always been the case.

FELLOW BEARD CELEBRATES HIS 500th

When asked what had changed the most since his childhood, he said the beards of old used to work much harder than younger generations. "We had to work morning to night on the farm," he said. Nowadays, and with modern granaries and apparatus, "work has become much more comfortable and less important," he's quoted. On his day of honor, Bingadur Is looking forward to his wife's barturan roast and a piece of tarfir rāba cake.
